Dared Teddy
I created this card for my son's first birthday it also fitted in with one of the Dirty Dare Challenges on www.splitcoaststampers.com. I used River Rock, Blue Bayou, Bashful Blue, Whisper White, and Soft Sky card stock. The card measures 9 1/2" x 3 1/2". The Blue Bayou layer is 4 1/2" x 3 1/4", Bashful Blue 3 1/4" x 2 3/4", Whisper White 3" x 2 1/2". I stamped the teddy bear from the Bundle of Joy set in Basic Black pad. I then colored him in with the Chocolate Chip and Close to Cocoa Watercolor Wonder Crayons. I blended the two together with Stampin' Ups' Blender Pens. I then used a watercolor brush and colored in the shadow using the Basic Black stamp pad. The photo corners are from the On Board Blossoms and Basics and are dyed with River Rock stamp pad and adhered to the upper left and lower right corner. The sentiment, from, is stamped using the Blue Bayou pad. The star also comes from the On Board Blossoms and Basics and is dyed with the Blue Bayou pad. I then used the Round Tab punch for the River Rock and Soft Sky tabs. They were adhered to the lower left corner of the card and the star was added. I thought I was done with the card but it looked like it needed something. I took the Uni-Ball Signo Gel Pen and printed the number 1 on the star. That's just what it need.
